I've been busy editing the Troubadour pics. During the set we were not to know this was John & David's last gig for a while. They played a very professional set with wonderful vocals. John moves to America in January 2007. It was obviously a poignant gig for them both, yet they seeemd very upbeat about David going over to San Francisco to write, and perhaps even gig over there with John. I had a short trip to SF years back and its a very exciting city - with bridges, mist, hills, lots of culture and stories - so I guess some similarites to Edinburgh there! Although John may miss his spooked graveyard and poltergeist! SF is John's girlfriends hometown, she has been living in Scotland many years. I wish them the best of luck and hope they come over to visit often.

 They both performed a professional set with wonderful vocals, playing and songs. During White Noise, John moved close to David and I got some photos. I’d no idea what an emotional gig this would be, both very happy and sad. Before White Noise David suddenly announced. ‘After tonight my good friend John Kielty is off to America.'
After the gig David simply said, ‘Thanks John.’ John adds himself to David’s music, it fits perfectly. I hope they spent a great few days together. They have something special on stage together, a rare musical connection.
