His pure, clear voice sings melodically over the strong passions of his piano.
I am really quite pleased with this first attempt at internet Photos!
They may not be my usual standard¬ but hey at least convey an idea of how the gig was.

Ah love the powers of the internet – first gig I’ve reviewed this way! Easier than all that travelling – I feel I might have missed the atmosphere though ( which makes me think.... we are loosing that human touch?
I need to go feel the breeze on my face, smell the flowers! These are my interweb photos!
David sounded wistful ‘ Over the past 6 months I have written over 40 songs, and not one of them for myself –
so it is rather a nice experience tonight getting to play my own songs again.
Regal Room Gig 28th March 2008 - BY WEBCAM!
A fun Upbeat gig at the Regal Room. The 3 Daves! A Polished, Energetic & Perfect set.
The strength and edge of David’s high tenor voice, powerful piano, and his beautiful songs always takes me to another place. He has spoilt me for other artists.
:David
After 6 months it was very good to see David back on stage performing at the grand piano.
He said he had written over 40 songs for other artists the past 6 months he’s been busy writing.
He looked well in dark cord jacket and shiny red tie. His set was polished and energetic.
David started (and finished) the gig with a set of 3 songs – One Old Soul, Time, Anticipation.
(Then there was Australian singer Luc Floreani, (who seemed a bit overwhelmed by all the Daves!)
Songs -
These are very good songs, and it is clear Dave is very musically gifted.
He sang Tin Bird, Save Me and Something From Nothing, and he has a very soulful voice.
His backing band was excellent too with David on piano and backing vocals, and Jay on guitar.
For his second set Dave sang Jazz Tune ( Love this) Going Under, playing guitar and with backing band for King of Hearts (both songs full of energy and top vocals).
I hear Beatles influences in the songs.
Disappointingly no new David songs as he’s been so busy for other artists.
It looked like they were all having a lot of fun with the gig. A couple of funny moments. Dave S says to Dave G introducing King Of Hearts - 'She's hotter than you! '
To which Dave G replies ’No... I’m sweating buckets!’ Also on the usual NEW version of Lady L at each gig (which is becoming quite exciting now!) towards the end of the song David starts laughing at David M – who appears to have got lost this time! Lol
Well done to David M for such good backing vocals and guitar.
It was lovely to hear Anticipation after so long, one of my favourite David songs.
Anticipation - about that surge of excitement before a gig – that euphoria. A song that you get lost in.
Also the beauty and passions of Insomnia always brings a lump to my throat. Such powerful vocals.
David said it was hard remembering his songs after no rehearsal and not doing any gigs for so long.
I am thinking his wrist injury has set him back with gigs & new songs - or perhaps he sang Ep songs as pleased the Ep has been in the Indiestore charts the past months of 2008.
I am keeping my fingers crossed there will be more gigs this year, and new songs.
He seemed in very good form.
David S vocals were so good. Wow - Dynamic piano and fun vibes.
'A lovely Sneddon sandwiche as one fan put it!'
It is obvious David is happy and confident about his music.
